i see....reading the opinions of other people is actually making me feel guilty that i had planned on starting a warez site....now im thinking about something else
I'm sorry for making you feel guilty. It's just people sometimes think the only way to make money online is to scam, to run illegal sites, to spam, etc. In the long run that's not true. Not at all. I wish you best of luck and maybe you will have a better idea soon
the thing is...in every field there is some site that is the "best" like...engadget for example is the best ive seen in tech-sites.....coming up with a good site is really hard these days....
So is in the illegal fields (Mininova, PirateBay, etc.) Don't worry, work hard with passion and eventually after an year you will see things improving a lot, your site ranking high for competitive keywords, etc. If you're determined and skilled nothing is impossible. It just takes time
It's not so much coming up with something easy, or what's hot right now, Making money online requires that you study, and learn the concepts of internet marketing...plain and simple. Just throwing up a site because something is hot right now will give you a shot in a million of making something, but it will not last. You need to learn, and build from the ground up...and even then, it's a 50/50 shot.
People EARN money by providing information, goods, or services. Your earnings will be in direct proportion to the quality and quantity of the goods and services you render. The only people the MAKE money work in a mint! My point I guess is that all you need to do is find some sort of thing that people want. It can be anything really! I have one site that has cute pictures of animals, people love it, and the adsense clicks it gets are probably 10 times better then a warez site. I also have a site with budgeting tips I am about to start, all I have to do is add a tip or two every week, and get some links from big sites like digg and stumbleupon for traffic. And no, I dont even know any budgeting tips, lol! All I have to do is go find them on the internet, learn them, and rewrite them in my own words. Another type of simple site I have that brings in money from adsense are quote sites, I have one for movies where I just put up good quotes from movies I like, it gets good google traffic from people searching for those quotes. You could make a quote site for anything Those are just three examples that I am currently working on. As long as your website delivers some sort of information, product, or service that is needed or wanted, you will make money. There are millions of things people want information for that are not illegal, just look around!
Oh, and not only can Adsense ban you for showing their ads on a warez-related site, your ISP, depending on which country you're from, now has the legal power to shut you down for such activities. And frankly, I hope they do
