    Does linking URLs with anchors negatively affect SEO optimization? I want to point visitors the the exact location of the content they are looking for.

    For example:

    /services.html#linkbuilding

    From my experience it change nothing for SEO. Search engine looking for links to rank the page, anchors will be ignored.
