Linking to URL with anchors

    Hello,

    Does linking URLs with anchors negatively affect SEO optimization? I want to point visitors the the exact location of the content they are looking for.

    For example:

    /services.html#linkbuilding

    From my experience it change nothing for SEO. Search engine looking for links to rank the page, anchors will be ignored.

    If you know how to distribute keywords, diversified anchotex, then that does not hurt.

    no negative effect if link is do-follow and in good site.
