Linking to the landing page... Can I make my own?

So I've just started using clickbank and have a nice looking website set up. The problem is that when my traffic is sent over the landing page to purchase the product, they have to scroll down through this terribly formatted information before they can make the purchase.

Is there any way that I can build landing pages myself? And send my traffic directly to the purchase form, instead of the landing page?

    Thanks

Huge landing pages are used on most of the best selling products around. I don't think it makes a lot of difference.

I think you've got your definitions mixed up. A landing page is YOUR page where you pre-sell the future customer. What I think you are referring to as a landing page is a sales page.

Yes, you can send them directly to the order form if you like.

The link you send them to looks like:
    http://1.YOURNICKNAME.vendorID.pay.clickbank.net

Make sure to check the number in the beginning of the URL, that's the actual product. It could be 2, 3 or 4 etc, check that on the vendors link on his sales page.

I will also add that if you are going direct to order page - you MUST do a few things on your landing page to preserve the credibility and TOS re clickbank. YOUR lander going straight to payment must have a) CB policy b) refund policy c) CB text (sold by clickbank... text is on their site, and on your publishers) d) any terms/conditions etc. the pub uses. You cannot bypass any of these or you risk getting yourself and your pub in trouble... Not saying that nobody does this, i'm sure many don't care and link to payment pages from simple landers but I for one would get heated if I saw my aff's doing this any bypassing all the necessities from CB. (think about it - even a publisher can hide behind a friends aff account and go bonkers selling as an aff without obiding by policies and fluff the web with their payment links...).

    Just my .02 - play safe :)

Hmmmm... I have just tried this method and it doesn't seem to work. I am 100% sure I have the correct product number, and vendorID. However when I enter the URL it just give me this message on a white page: This product is no longer for sale

?? Are you sure thats the correct order for the URL?

You probably got the number wrong (1.vendorid.pay...) << The '1' is probably wrong - go back to your publisher, rollover his 'buynow' button, and look in the bottom of your internet window to see how they link - or right click 'save link as' and paste it somewhere to inspect which product # they use... Or just be real and contact the publisher making them aware of what your are trying to do - they may not like it but chances are they will help you accomplish it if it means more sales for them. **You will also need to make sure that you cookie the visitor before you send them to payment, otherwise you won't be getting commission. This means you'll have to cookie stuff them on your lander or give them that cookie somehow first ;)

    Cheers,

The second way is wrong - there is another formula that uses nickname_vendor but that one also doesn't overwrite someone elses cookie if your user was already cookied for this - so use the first link but only after you cookie them.

Oh ok.. So I just have to make sure my visitor has my website cookie'd before I send them to the vendors payment page?

Haha... damn. This seems iffy. I'll definitely have to contact them. But any information you can help me with is still appreciated. Suggestions are welcome too. Seeing as how you've made 4 grand in one day with Clickbank, you must know your stuff. :p

Yes, it is a bit iffy, and the CB terms are also iffy - there is a lot of room for fraud and the industry frowns upon cookie stuffing - rightfully so. There are warez that stuff 1000's of cookies on PC's at once, there are wares steal any outgoing afflinks and replace them on ppl's PC's etc. However I find that when you are working closely with a publisher it should be allowed if it is regulated and monitored well.

I cover this topic in great detail here however you'll have to become a member to get the full scoop :)

Cheers to a 4K day for you in turn :)
