Directory linking to sitemap? Just when i was about to launch my niche directory, i found this directory http://www.hrwebdir.org pretty interesting. I seems that they ask for sitemap and forum links and their sitereport pages links to sitemaps of individual sites. Until now, i havent heard or noticed of any directories linking to sitemaps of individual sites. I sent a private mail to the owner of the site where he says that sitemap page is most important than the main homepage url, since most inner pages are accessible easily 1 click or 1 level and this would be most beneficial to search engines in terms of frequent crawling and updating. If directories were to link to sitemap of their listed listes, then google sitemaps would never exist or wont be needed. Should we all directories implement linking to sitemap? what you guys think?
