Linking to other websites

    Not at all !

    if you are buying a link on web hosting or internet related site it is okay

    but not on a Food recipe site

    All backlinks are good but much better if you have links from related site to help you improved your search engine rankings.

    all are stressing on related links since they only bring you the traffic! and not the links from non related sites and also links from other non related sites will not affect you in anyway as

    Search Engines have no ability to detect those links

    Linking to other sites diminue pr but linking to ban sites is no good
