Linking to my sites from my other sites

    Hi all,

Quick question, is it worthwhile to link from my own sites to other sites I run, or will I get penalized in the rankings?

I have something like 10 sites on 3 IP addresses, so while they all aren't just sitting on 1 IP, it's got to be obvious to Google or whoever wanted to check that the sites likely have the same owner.

Some of my sites are older and have decent PR, so I'd hope to gain from some linking, but don't want to do more harm than good.

Thanks for any info and help

If they are relevant and on different Ip s it sounds like you should be fine.

you can link from one site to another as long as all the sites doesn't link to each other. do it in a way so that it doesn;t look like networked site. for example, from sites on one ip can link to sites on another ip. then the second ip can link to the 3rd ip but not back to the first ip. make it as hard as possible for google to detect the network

google would only devalue link when you are trying to manipulate ranking with mass link spam. just do what other people would normally do when they came across an interesting site.
