Linking to my site, a rule question...

I often like to help people in the html/css/coding forums, sometimes I have covered their questions on my site, is it ok if I reply with a link to where I covered their question?

For example, if I see a post of someone asking "How do I use a different CSS file for IE?", can I reply with a link to my page about it: http://www.netiblog.com/different-css-for-explorer/

I understand sometimes linking to your own site in a reply can be thought of as "hijacking" the thread, but in this case, is it ok?

Please let me know! Cheers :)

Yes you can if you have some helpful information for the member on your site, but make sure you don't 'spam' it in every thread.
