Linking To My Own Website?

I have a old website that is yet to be finished. It used to have a forum on it. However I deleted the forums, and I plan bringing it back in the future.

I have now created a new forum, on a different domain, from scaratch. However it is the same niche as my other website.

On the new forum I am posting the images to the characters of that Niche. Is it okay to add a clickable URL back to my other website?

Will this harm me in anyway?

you can link from one site to another which is not a problem. as long as you are not doing severe interlinking from every single page of one site to every single page to other site, you are fine.

The Niche is a game. So there are like 500 Characters. I am creating Threads about each Character in my forums. In each Thread there will be a Image hosted on the other website with a Link to it's page.

There will be 500 Links. One for each Character. Each Link will be a different location as each Character will have it's own page.

So this is fine?

There is not a problem if you doing that. I also doing same like that for all of my website.
