Linking to DP ?

    I have got a idea for making DP popular. And this is:-

    DP have about 3000 + members, and about 80% of them have atleast one website. The idea is that if every user link to DP from his website(s), so it will make DP popular. DP pagerank will also increase + DP's search engine ranking will also increase.

    I dont think people should agree with this. However lets see what people say ;).

    A lot of members here already link to DP (it's the best webmaster forum) and it is already "quite" popular anyway :).

    Yeah i am not saying its not popular. But if it gets more popular it will be great.

    And on doing that alot of people will join DP. The main thing i love in DP is that they dont charge for posting in Buy/Sell/Trade forum. Sitepoint,V7N & other forums charges for that.

    So we can make DP alot of much popular through my idea ;).

    It just happens that my blog links to all kinds of DP threads I've started. "Comment here"... "Check this out" etc. Seems like everyone is signed up here these days, and linking to certain threads just makes sense.

    Wow! if DP get 38,530 links it will be too much good. :)

    I am not saying that dp isnt popular, but i want it alot popular. Now dp has 132 alexa if it gets to something like 100 or 90 it will rock :).

    This thread was started by some Digital-Guy and now the OP is faroooooooooqa. Multiple accounts are merged at DP and that person is banned.

    To some extent farooqaaa was genteel.:D On Aug 25th 2006 he started a thread titled "Bye DP". http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=130438 He might have decided to forgo one account and continue with another one with name "Digital-Guy". But at later stage he decided not to leave DP. Unfortunately he get caught. Pity!:( Why atall members want to maintain two accounts? Misusing privileges leads to loosing every thing.

    Sumit, why not to start blogs on "The banned stories of Forums"
    "Nightmare of reputations", "The thrill of duplicate accounts". Going to be "internet interesting stories". Some revenue through Adsense.:D :D :D
