My question is when I post articles to my site can I hyperlink some of the words to my own website (different)pages. For example my article is car part, can I hyperlink link the "part" to my part.html page. I hope I am clear.
In fact, it is considered a very good practice to interlink different pages with eachother on the same site. Such networking of pages is considered very visitor friendly since it helps in navigating the whole site... pretty efficiently! Regards, RightMan
This is a recommended practice, this helps your site in 3 ways. 1. Your internal linking becomes stronger. 2. Number of page views are likely to increase. 3. Scrappers might keep the links in your article (links to your other pages).
When I link to my sites I almost always link to an inner page that targets certain keywords. I use a method called a link push and it works real well since link wheels are no longer effective.
no problem with SEO. internal linking is a good job. Just make sure not to point to somekind like doorwaypage.
of course you can do this.. It's a good idea to attract the visitors to the inner pages of your site.
Does it help to use two different links with different keywords on the same page to be linked to the same URL? I have heard that one should only have one link per url in one page.
When I write an article and publish it on a Web 2.0 site, I only have one outbound link per article. It keeps it from looking spammy and also helps you keep focus on your targeted goal of getting link juice for a keyword or keyword phrase.
That is good practice. But I find it too tedious to do something like this. I rather adopt the method of writing a summary of 10 best posts or something to get links to older post. I see many bloggers doing that.
