hi guys, i currently have an idea for something that I am experimenting with right now. the site isn't built yet, but going to get someone to do that for me and I'll do the promoting myself. On similar sites, i go to alexa and i look at the most traffic that each site gets by determining how many links that are linked to the site and i determine that the more links that are linked to a site under alexa, the better the traffic is. i went under alexa lastnight and just started saving some of the sites that he had his site linked to like..... semrush, mahalo, kaboodle, etc. i figured that this a great guide to point you into the right direction of where to put this site. am i accurately correct? or would this be the hard way? i have a couple of questions about alexa. 1) why does alexa only display only 100 backlinks linking to the owners site when it says it has 403? 2) Also, why does alexa show that most of the traffic from the upstream sites is coming from google, gifts, yahoo, etc. but when i look and see where the owners site is linked under alexa, i see no links that are linking on any of the google, gifts, yahoo pages? waiting for your responses. I'm referring to where it states (403 Sites linking linking in) why is that?
