I have some confusion and I know it the confusion of many. The link exchanges with the sites which are connected to your content. Many of these links are from pages called links.htm or resources.htm which is pretty worthless. Most such links pages were grey barred in PR and importance by Google years ago! The question is why the people keep run for the Page Rank of the site. It's not about PR anymore! Why do so many people here keep chasing Page Rank? It's plainly evident in the SERPs that PR is not the sole determinate of ranking. Please share your big views.
I followed the same NO for the sideways because I don't care about more back links but rather the traffic that they can send me.
If you research my old threads my itraders, speak to those who sold me links and compile a list of some of the sites. I own some templates for the web worthy of $ 50.
I am agreeing to the thoughts of yours. But if you get at back links from non related Good PR page then it’s good. Also, there are more than 200 methods to optimize through Google.
That's another joke around here. Someone gets access to a page on a unit-site that the IT dept hasn't noticed yet and they spam it up to the brim before it gets deleted.
Of course the directories might not be that horrific as you have mentioned but they need to be simply part of the link building and focusing over them too much is truly a mistake.
Page rank is now not the matter of SERP, it’s just matter of link sales, increase u r PR and sale links.
