Linking in your own blog

    Any reason why it wouldn't?

    As long as it makes sense and gives value for visitors there are little SEO that is not ok ...

    Of course. Some of my blogs are "Sponsored" by my other sites. You should cross promote and advertise your own stuff.

    own blog to your own site or own blog to your own site's?
    you are free to promos your own sites within your websites but it should be under the same niche.
    Why same niche?
    User would not like the "pokers links" if they are visiting a real state site.
    User would like if they get "mobile links" on a tech blogs.

    In the end its upto you. :p
