Linking from different Servers.

So here's my situation. I have 2 different servers, each is hosted by a different company, so they have different Class C IP addresses. Each server has 20+ sites on them.

Here is a theoretical example of my setup:

Server 1                         Server 2

Site 2                            Site 6
Site 3                            Site 7
Site 4                            Site 8

So my question is:

Can I have a 1 one-way sitewide link on each site from server 2, to a corresponding site on Server 1? Would google catch on to this (Since all sites on Server 2 have same IP, and all sites on Server 1 have same IP)?

For example:
Site 5 -> Site 1
Site 6 -> Site 2
Site 7 -> Site 3
Site 8 -> Site 4

 

it can be done like that but if one of ur sites being slapped by google - all the sites will be affected..
i have this experience

 

hmm you should be able to pull this off for a couple of sites.. yet 20.. thats a big risk there

 

It will work, but better to link from your inner pages rather than from your homepage
