Do u mean two forums to the same Database? If so, it is not going to work because each forum has injections that it makes into the database. for example, someone registers at site a and then someone registers at site b, they will both have the same user id and the db will see that as duplicate data.

Doesn't phpBB work with a table prefix?
I know SMF does. You can install as many forums as you want in 1 database, as long as they ahve a different table prefix.

Yes that is true but I do not know if that is what the OP meant. If you tell the config file to use a different prefix then sure it would be fine. but with the basic install, both of those forum softwares will tell u there is a database already.

I'd like to know how to do it, too.
I have a domain A, and the database is used as LOCALHOST. I suppose there must be a possibility for domain B to have a remote connection to the same database.

Dmoz, google.directory and others use the same data. How do they do it?
