Hi, just wandering if anyone makes a bunch of blogs on say blogspot or so and then links them together. Does this work very well if you put good content on them or something? Tips anyone.
If you are using wordpress, you can put all your related sites as blogroll and "redirect" your traffic among the network. Off course, good content is the major key here.
If helps if all the blogs are having good quality content, try out making a main blog with all the individual blog updates on it.
thanks for that info, so you can build pr among blogs by linking them together and also transferring it to a main site?
No pr may come or your sites may get penalised too because these all depends on many factors but the main point is the whole network gets a good brand and join effort results.
so, basically you gotta do it carefully, but if you make a bunch of blogs with similar content and link them together, you can create a nice little network. and then transfer seo to a main site. Just trying to get creative here since you can't buy pr and cant obtain links on high pr pages without an equal reciprocal. I'm thinking, what the heck should i do? I keep notice people trying to sell blog post across a ton of blogs. Is this what they did? just built a blog community by interlinking a bunch?
If you have many blogs a t blogger.com they will all be on the same IP, thats not so good for your SEO.
thanks for clearing that up, i was wandering how google treats blogger. Seeing as how its such a huge community, i thought it almost might be possible for the bots to treat each blog like a separate domain.

you could use site-wide links but from a search engines perspective, id try to link to my other blogs in the content of my blogs. choose some keywords that are related to the blog you want to link too, then make it a text link. do the same thing with all your other blogs.
