I was wondering what everyones strategy is for linking between your own sites, especially if you have gateway pages/sites. I have about a dozen or more sites all on different IP's and different areas around the world, the design between them is slightly different colors/font size tables graphics layout etc, content is completely different. Right now my gateway sites which have many pages full of content and not just one page are all linking to one site randomly through out the site, I want to start adding a few more links to the GW pages and point to other sites of mine. Who else is using this as a strategy? I can see it is effective in my stats the GW pages are getting top 10 listings and many times top 5 and even 1st place, the pages they link to are receiving an extra 100+ hits per month from each GW page its not much but its highly targeted traffic that they are getting. If you are using GW pages to bring traffic to other sites what is your link structure like and do you have any advice? Also to increase PR on the GW pages where/how do you suggest I market them I rather spend time getting links for my main pages and leave the GW pages setup with the reciprocal link directories and when I have time attempt to get better links, any thoughts? If they are all on different class C IP blocks then you can greatly benefit from linking between them. Good luck!
