Hello, I exchange links with several sites. Some are PR6 but their link pages are PR0 so there is no benefit to link with them... I also exchange links with PR0 sites... these sites disavantage my PR calculation. Am I correct on both points or do I need to stop smoking coffee beans? Thank you
stop smoking and simply concentrate on "relevant and useful" link exchanges i think P R is important, but all in good time one of my newer sites was ZERO for MONTHS, now 5, so linking with P R ZERO is not necessarily a disadvantage. good luck,
plmerlin, drop me a PM if you want to exchange a few travel links - I've a few sites you might be interested in.
I wouldn't exchange links with PR0 sites just in case the're PR0 due to being banned by Google. As far as the PR6 sites with PR0 link pages are concerned, this might be due to the fact that the pages are new and are not showing a PR on the toolbar. I would ensure that they are properly linked from the main site though, to make sure that they do pass some PR to your site.
I got a PR 6, but some pages don'tshow any PR. Can you please tell me the reason and the solution ? I can understand that I might be doing it wrong. Thanks. Viineet Jain
GoAhead and have link exchange with PR0 relevant sites. No harm till it is not banned or panalized. PR0 <---> PR6 not always...see the site and calculate its quality and stuff it is having.
if you use firefox's toolbar you can actually see the difference between PR 0 and NO pagerank (showing as n/a) if you see pagerank 0 then that page is indexed (and therefore not banned) if you see pagerank n/a it's possible (but not certain) that the page is banned
