Linking a readymade flash movie (.swf) to another website?

    Hello People... :)

I have a flash movie and I'd like to link it to another website. I would like if it provided visitors the ability to click anywhere on the flash movie. Is there a way to do this? I'm testing this on Internet Explorer and Firefox only, and that's sufficient, I guess. So, any method that works with these 2 browsers is decent to get me started.

    Please help me... :)

You'd need to do this in flash. The best method is to create an "invisible" button, that is a transparent movieclip the same size as the stage, and apply a getURL function to that.

    Hope this helps.

That was the only saving grace I could come across. Thanks a lot :)

You could convert the flash movie to a animated image and link the file like that. Aside from that you could maybe create a map using the flash. That's a big maybe though. :)

I read about creating a map idea too. Sounded too futuristic (LOL) for me. So, I didn't get into it. An animated image (a gif, I'm guessing) wouldn't give me the logo showing up so well, as an image in a flash movie would do. Thanks :)
