Hi, To my new site launch, I'm thinking about buying like 10 domains with my keywords, which should have some content with the keywords, and then link to my mainsite. For example if I had a car repair shop, I would buy the domains: "car-parts.com", "carrepair{city}.com" etc. that had content and linked to my mainsite. Will it be good for SEO??
You should really research the search volume for the keywords prioritize the high volume keywords by competition and plan accordingly. Buy Yes, using the exact match (.com, .net, .org) keyword in the top level domain will really give you an edge! Creating micro sites to pass relevant link equity to your site will involve a lot of legwork. You'll have to build up link equity to the micro sites too so I would expect to allot a good block of time to back link campaigns for the secondary sites.
Before deciding keyword you should research it using any keyword tool then you would exactly know the searches of that keyword, if any keyword is in your mind then it is not accurate, you have to use it mechanically!
Yes I also believe you would be a lot better of spending your time and money by developing a diverse link building strategy, and concentrating on producing good content regularly.
i dont really see any benefit of dong this. just having some relevant content on a few new domains will not really give you much quality backlinks. links will be relevant but the sites will be new as well. without having some authority for those new sites of their own, you will not get any quality backlinks. you will be better of just building some relevant pages on authority web 2.0 sites and link to your main site. when it comes to link juice, its the quality of links that count and a new domain will not pass any quality backlink unless you promote each of those sites individually which is a lot of work
No I wouldn't recommend it. Just make some free sites from blogger, wordpress, weebly etc. Build a few links for them and make a link wheel
