Nobody likes a rat fink. If you want to know how to eliminate your competition, learn from the greats like Al Capone, or the Gambino family.
Maybe if you know how they operate you understand it better. march - june 2006 : They bought 500-1000 domains and hosting with 300-400 companies. You can now buy a link on there network for around 1000-2000 euro (1400-2800 USD). Every link is targeted with a keyword. How can I compete with such a scam ??
I would report it and let Google make the Call. It's not being a rat when you get rid of the black hatters out there.
1: you discovered no linkfarm 2: You cannot Say somebody bought a link if you don`t know for sure 3: If Google takes these reports seriously, they will not rely on only one report coming from a direct competitor like you are 4: Start doing it better than the competition. The sites from your competitor are badly coded, unoptimized and not well ranked. You can do better...I guess. 5: Everybody who said this thread is a waste of time, is right.
I have to disagree with you. 1. Why are all these sites linked to each other ? 2. On every website there are 2 kinds of links 1. quicklinks (real links) and 2 . links to link.php?goto=*** (stopped with nofollow) 3. On every website the links with a quicklink menu are pointing to the same domains.
Because they all have the same owner, serve the same purpose and it's a mini-net? A linkfarm is typically a bad neighborhood. You indicated that this was a paid inclusion directory. The quick links are merely links to other directories in the network. I don't think it is illegal to link all of your sites together. Please, report or not, go work on your sites instead of debating the merits and deficits of your competitor's network. You will reap the rewards of your work, and your site will recover some if not all of it's position.
