LinkedIn advertising - is there a difference between the banners and side bar ads?

    Hi,

    i'm running an ad campaign on Linkedin and can't find how to run banner ads, does this happen automatically with linkedin adverts or is this under a completely different system?

    Please help!

    to me there is no huge difference between banner and side bar ads as they both show ads anyhow. but sidebar ads are more effective than banner ads. Sidebar ads are vertically oriented on the side of a Web page and are much larger than banner ads. They can be up to 600 pixels high, and are usually 120 pixels wide. Unlike banner ads, you cannot scroll sidebar ads off the screen
