That's a conversation, not a sale. The only valid domain/site sales here are done in the appropriate site/domain sales areas.

The point of showing you the conversation was that the sales link on the sales page had an error and did not work properly for some reason thus forcing the sale via a conversation.

Here is what the seller said
"The website is still available. Please pm for paypal email. Sorry about the link, it must be something on dp's end because I have nothing to do with that."

    Please see here:
    https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...n-store-low-bin-no-exp-req-hot-niche.2740817/

As I have previously tried to tell you guys, the same kind of error happened on the sale pages for several other sites that tried to buy here on DP.

When the Buy Now link is clicked on, you see this:
    The following error occurred:
This sale requires potential buyers to have a linked premium or business PayPal account. You can link your account over here.

The seller says that has nothing to do with him and that he did not place any restrictions on the payment for the site.

I have used my paypal account for years, from small to very large payments, without having to "link" it to anything.
This seems to be just another obstacle placed in the path of those who try to buy stuff.

That's a restriction the seller set when creating the sale.

    Thank you for that.
So when the seller says :

"Sorry about the link, it must be something on dp's end because I have nothing to do with that."
He is being some what economical with the truth?

You can't BIB on that auction because seller did not set a BIN price (it's an auction only).

So the BIN link is not relevant in this case.

If I buy these sites in any case, would they "register" in my profile as purchases or not?

As buyer and NOT a seller, frankly the "profile" does not matter a lot to me, it is just that its a bit annoying to see stuff added to the profile which is clearly not true!

If you win the auction, then yes... Of course you can pay for it.

Yes I think its time I stopped protesting about the changes to DP using the "new & improved" jibe!
Of course many of the changes have been really bad, take the Scripts for example.
DP used to be the place to go for great scripts but now you will find that there just are no interesting scripts offered on DP any more.
I know this because I was and still am a regular buyer of great scripts.

But must also admit that some of the changes are not bad and may even be useful.

Just so you know what I mean by the total dearth of good scripts here on DP, I just searched for the best "city site script" and here is what I got:
    https://www.digitalpoint.com/search/27356172/?q=city+site+script&t=marketplace_item&o=date !

There is the omnipresent in DP "Run your own Hotel & Flight Search Site" posted by an agent of the notorious hotelscombined franchise and one of the most prolific posters on DP.

Some one selling "the most popular WordPress classified ads theme."

and "Appthemes Classipress Standard Package" for sale.

also, An Advanced Craigslist email scrapper

And lastly, an offer to "redirect to multiple pages based on city, state/province, and country."

All of it not only not relevant, but also really poor stuff!

I need to urgently get a good script for a City Site for a client, am unable to find it here on DP and now have to go elsewhere to try and find it!

    It was not always so.
    KC

It's hardly Digitalpoints fault if no one is selling what you are looking for.
As for saying "DP used to be the place to go for great scripts" the majority of the scripts being sold under the old system were nulled illegal crap, most of the sellers had no rights to sell them in the first place.

"majority of the scripts being sold under the old system were nulled illegal crap, most of the sellers had no rights to sell them in the first place."
Those may have been the kinds of scripts that you were used to or involved with, but Shawn can confirm by going back into the records that ALL of the scripts that I bought here, either ready made, or new custom scripts created by the coders here at DP, were not only legal but also really innovative and in the true sense, great scripts!

Again, the above fact can be easily checked.

"It's hardly Digitalpoints fault if no one is selling what you are looking for."
Oh but they are selling really good scripts my dear fellow, just not here at DP for some reason.

Did you send your purchase records to me? If you did, I didn't keep them.
