linkdomain: command - how are the results ordered?

When I use the linkdomain: command in the yahoo search to see sites linking to me, the first 20 results or so are usually in the exact same order, or very close.

My question for you all is, how do they order this list of sites? I have noticed that the ones at the top of the list are the more popular/important sites, and yes I know we're talking about yahoo, but these top listed sites also have good Google Page Ranks. How does Yahoo determine the order of results?

Another interesting thing, I've always heard that yahoo shows more backlinks then google, but in some data centers G has me at 364 and Yahoo shows between 300 - 310..maybe by the time the BL update is complete and all Google DC's roll over to the higher number (up from 265), yahoo will discover more back links and their number will jump.

Here's my example - it's set to show 100 per page.

p.s. Not sure why I'm wasting my time on Yahoo - it sends me 1% of my SE traffic. Msn is worse - .2% or something! Apparently the people who find my site don't use those engines.
