    What's your experience with LinkdIn? Is it worth using for marketing, link building, or whatever?

    Ive linked up with some friends and ex colleagues but interested to find out how it can be used for marketing...

    Linkedin is pretty cool. I don't use it much, but I really like the idea.

    It's been a great tool for finding people with whom I've fallen out of touch. Can't say I've monatized the service much, but it's fun to use.

    I know it ticked me off how on vanity searches (myname.com still comes up first) but there was another person with my name in Austrailia who was number 3 in the SERPS. I setup a linkedin account, and added links to my "good" sites, including my personal one. The other guy's page dropped off the front, so I'm happy again.
