Hi, I often see links in the description of a Youtube video. For example this random chosen video has many links below it. I wonder how it's done. Can anyone tell me that, I would be very appreciative! BTW, I'm not planning to stuff my videos like that, but one link would be great per video. I know that's nofollow, but with teh trust factor it might come in handy and I don't take nofollow to serious.
Google probably doesn't value links from YouTube very highly.. if at all, for the simple fact that the links can be manipulated so easily. I would just forget it. If you were still set on linking, I'd link from your channel, using a branded anchor text, and maybe include your business address, phone number etc to make it look natural and informative/useful rather than spammy.
I think you should study about video optimization. I'm not familiar with the whole process since I dont include that on my task but its somewhat similar with on page optimization.
Thanx for the answers, I'll take both in consideration. But too bad that there is not an answer on the specific question I ask. I still hope someone does know the answer.
Didn't you answer your own question. When done making the video, put the URL in the video description.
Your answer does make sense. However, my links (and many others) don't become clickable but some do (like in the example). That's the point. I could have given an better description of my question so it seems.
Always add an url, doesn't hurt to do it. It's free traffic and as for backlinks, never heard you could get penalized for it.
