link: why only few links show up

    I submitted to many directories out there and also post in a lot of forums I am sure my sites have more than 2000 links pointing to them but only few are displayed. Also is it true that google only displays pages that have a min pagerank on PR1 in the link: query

    no.
    google will display only few backlinks, enough for you to make an idea about your website. try yahoo to get backlinks.

    linkdomain shows links to subpages but only works in yahoo and msn.

    google's link operator intentionally shows a very small percentage of your links. dont use it, its awful.

    like others said use yahoo or MSN.
