Link wheel is a very powerful but yet the most time consuming linking technology. If someone have insomnia and cant sleep for a year can create a very efficient link wheel. What is it? When you use social medias and web 2.0 websites for promoting each other. The most used linkwheel websites are: http://squidoo.com http://wordpress.com http://blog.com http://blogger.com http://livejournal.com http://blog.co.uk http://freewebs.com http://jimdo.com http://weebly.com http://blinkweb.com http://blogsome.com You create a account one each one of these and start writing articles. Post a lot of articles which promotes your money making site. The next step is to promote an other web 2.0 site. So it would look like this: Every site is linking the money making site and an other neighbor (ONLY 1!!!) web 2.0 site. The web 2.0 sites links each other in circle and with this technique they will strengthen each other and gives a lot of authority and strength for your money making site. Cheers,
Here i want add couple of which hubpages.com is the most popular and powerful one you may add here, you also try gather.com
Can i ask you a question? say you have your main site and write an article (for arguments sake) on the topic of art, and you put this article on your website, just not the main page. Then do you write another article on art and stick it on say squidoo and link squidoo to the article on your webpage. Then what do you do, write another article say on hubpages on art but do you link that to your article on squidoo, or your article on your main site? it gets abit confusing!
ARTidas, great list and thanks for telling us what's a link wheel, I was also about to ask that question.
@janefuller You link from hubpages to squidoo and your homepage. @iamhighstead I likie this forum Cheers,
link wheel is pretty much creating a link network of web 2.0 pages. while setting up web 2.0 pages to promote your site and to gain backlinks is a good idea and often you will gain good link juice form the high ranking/authority web 2.0 sites, interlinking each other to form a link network is NOT a good idea. basically what you are doing is setting up a "link farm" that Google will eventually penalize. there is nothing wrong setting up the pages and leave them stand alone and promote each page separately. but heavy interlinking is a BAD idea
