Link Wheeling, Does It Work?

I recently heard about link wheeling and I was told it gets your site ranked quickly because you get link juice from other sites like blogs, social media etc.

Is it true, does it work?

Link wheel is still working but not as much as it was. I've conducted an observation about websites who used link wheels before. They do rank high in SERPS but after some updates that occurred they have suddenly disappeared in SERP. I just don't really know what causes them to lose their ranking.

yes its works, when the bunch of sites link with each other, and the first site links with the last site and last with first the complete circle then its a link wheel.

Yes, by doing link wheel one gets not only good traffic, unique visitors, but also a link from high PR ranked websites. But in order to get all the link juice one has to do a three way linking. Probably this thread should be posted in link building section rather than in keyword section. No offense.

Now you have one spoke of your wheel.

But Google is not easy to defeat, when you close the link then it automatically tells to Google that you are making a link wheel so it is better to use it in this way that don't close the both ends of web 2.0. Let it open from both ends. In this way you can not catch by Google.

i think that the link wheel is only helpful only if you are having a good group of high pr websites that are linking to each other..but it is still working.
