yes google will do this only if you will use the same technique. Build link wheel in a way which way is not using others. Try to build complex link wheel. Add more properties. Dont make the cycle link wheel. build as complex as you can. Use different keyword on every property. dont use duplicate content or spun articles. use one link with keyword and one simple link but both should be pointing to different pages.
If you get link from authority sites, then google will love your backlinks & this is important to rank your website. Make as much quality link wheel as you can to give your site link juice.
