Link Wheel is a legal method or black hat?

I want to know about the Link Wheel is it a leagal method for seo or it is black hat seo tricks and if we do link wheel of different blog sites what u think it would helpful and not penalized my site by the search engines

 

Ohh! if you Link all your stuffs in to main website there would be a chance to get penalized by google. But every one telling it's a black hat method, In my personal method i will argue there are no any black hat methods there, usually there are two kind of wheel

1) Link Wheel
2) Pyramid

All Links are circling called as "Link Wheel", If comes like to Pyramid called as "pyramid", Actually you should use Web 2.0 properties. Squidoo, hubpages are the main web 2.0 Which are build one blog aka Lense and Hubs. First of all create a pyramid Link and create a link wheel strategy bottom of the Pyramid. Link wheel is alegal methos as long as you don't bombard it with lot of link building post everyday. Link wheel is a process where you can create quality links that secure to blocking.

I wouldn't call it 'white hat' because it is artificially creating links to a website. However, its definitely not blackhat. In truth, its in the middle.

IMO, link building is simply advertising. Offline businesses ask for referrals in many different ways. They may give a kickback/freebie to the person who sends them a new customer. Online marketers can (and should) create backlinks!

Link wheels are out of date. They leave too big of a footprint. As MohamedShajid mentioned, Link Pyramids are a better way to go. I use http://fiverr.com/dino_stark on fiverr for my pyramids. And, without fail, I get to position 1-3 on page one of Google ... every time. Of course, I pick the right keywords

Regarding linking, don't put all of your eggs (links) in one basket. A link pyramid is great, but be sure to diversify. Forum post, blogs, profile links, .edu and .gov, etc.

I think link wheel is not black hat SEO technique but if used it with duplicate content to improve search engine ranking then it may be considered as black hat technique because using a duplicate content is against search engine guide lines.

Link wheels with fresh and unique content will help you to increase visitors as well as website back links and ranking on SERP.

I think Link Wheel is not bad if and only if it is implemented carefully. If you post duplicate or spun articles on the blogs, then that's illegal. Make sure that it is written uniquely and after a week from the submission, that's the time you link them all.. let's say your Top 15 Social Blogs

i'd say that linkwheel is kinda grey thing. i've used one for my site, but it neither helped nor made worse

It's risky this time - after the Penguin update, link schemes might bring negative effect once Google see the site doing some manipulative move

 

Link wheels are black hat. Actually anything that is artificial link building is black hat nowadays.

 

Grey hat method... It's not fully white hat or blackhat!! It depends on how you build them.. And upon the the Penguin Google update i feel link wheel will not be as effective as it used to be!!
