Link wheel design VS traditional link building - which is best?

Are link wheels are a better design/strategy then traditional backlinks?

Providing the link wheel design is natural, using alternative anchor text, unique original content - is it a better "link design" than the good old traditional one-way, high PR links?

 

may i know your goals? you want to increase PR or SERP?
it seems PR and SERP have different approach...

 

Overall I think Link Wheels are a better approach, in my opinion.

I find link wheels help to get my links indexed and also boost my PR if I get some nice PR sites involved.

 

Both are benefit for SEO..so no problem to any technique.

link wheel take time and if google realises what you have done much of your time has been wasted, conventional linkbuilding if google ignires a link you have wasted much less time!

Ok, well I wanted to rank well for search terms and increase PR. The design would be as natural as possible. I just wondered how "effective" link wheels actually are or if they have been abused by spammers too much and now heavily frowned upon by Google?

 

Both work well, but you need to make some work extra, rss feed for your backlinks and bookmarking them. since google is very smart, try to no close the link wheel very fast, try to expande it, and let some backlinks index naturally.

Yes, both way still exists. you only want to know what is better and what could bring you SERP. If you are having an tough or competitive keyword then you should go for link wheel. else with an normal competition you may try normal link building.

 

Link wheels are better than the traditional link building strategy. It has become old and subject to change so Link Wheels are a much quicker source of indexing and PR boost.
