Well... I have no problems with Link Vault. They simply took it a different route that I don't necessarily agree with for what the ad network is designed for (obviously, otherwise the ad network would already do what they do).

As far as "thousands of hours"... nah. It went from random idea I had one morning to being tested on a few sites in about 24 hours. :) Of course work as gone into it since then... but I've spent more hours reviewing ads than I did actually coding at this point. :)

I have had several IM's saying that. I don't use the stats so I can't say it's true for me. But the buzz has started.

I want to thank shawn for the coop.

Most people here have more than one website. In my case new websites with no PR do not do well in the coop. So I use LV on them. Those that are already established get a few more links with the coop.

If I need traffic from MSN, Yahoo I use the coop. For technical minded traffic I use LV for better placement in google.

I do not yet see why it's either the choice between the coop or lv . They are different tools for different end results. Apply the one that will work well for your situation.

I've been using the coop since last November, and my results in MSN/Yahoo have been great.. Lately, my rankings on those SEs have started to slip a bit, and I'm wondering if that might be related to the caps being removed on weight, thereby making my puny weight even less effective. Or it could be new algo changes MSN has implemented.

Regardless, the effects in Google have been dismal. I've been meaning to create another site for awhile now, and I think this is the perfect opportunity to do so. I'm going to use LV on this other site, and see how it fares over the next 3 months using just LV and regular link exchange methods similar to the ones I currently employ. Time will tell how it all works out.

I got excellent rankings in msn/yahoo using COOP. Now I am trying link vault on my other sites. I am expecting good results using link vault as well.
