never forget that google hates you and will toy with you any chance they get. they have whole divisions whose sole task is to torture SEOs. Or maybe we'll see a nice update in the next couple days.

I read somewhere that when the webmasters get uneasy on the boards like this about the search results, an update is going on. Google might be in the process of synchronizing the datacenters.

Google is probably trying to update it's data to something like the new MSN (msn seem to do it everyday), but everyone is seeing very different results.

Will be a while before things settle down.

Depends on how you look at it. Google has been using 2-3 Algos fo the past few months now. This is why results vary so much from DC's.

Today the shifting of the SERPS is happening but I have seen it happen for a couple of days now.

My personal thoughts are that google are synchronising the datacenters. I'm now seeing almost exactly the same SERPS across all datacenters - the only oddity being the two centers that seem to have lost my BL's

I've been experiencing strange results when I enter my website name, for a couple of weeks now. For some reason there are now only 120 links containing my site name, not back links, whereas there used to be over 300. At one point the results kept changing from 120 to over 300, but now they are constantly just 120.

I've aslo noticed my homepage being re-cached for a certain name, but then changing back to a much cached page. Must be something to do with the different datacenters.

I still think a PR update is coming very soon.

there is definatly something coming - my site has 141 BL when checked via datacenters (altho some show 0) but when i check thru toolbar it show 0.

we are due a pr update sometime soon i reckon or is this all just an "aprils fool joke"?
