Link Units

Do link units like the one I have on the top of my website, slickcoupon.com, pay out when you click the initial link, or does it require a double click through.

For instance, when you click the ad the first time, it shows you a list of other ads. Is it required for the user to click the first link and then an ad on the page that comes up?

Sorry if this sounds like a bad question, but I wasn't sure.

Link units only pay when someone clicks one of the sponsored results on the next page.

I havent used the ad units for quite awhile, for that very reason, but some may have better luck with them than I did.

In order to make money from AdSense you really need to have a lot of traffic.

You would be surprised how many people report they get more CTR with link units than normal ads.

 

I can testify that since adding well-blended Link Units to my websites, my total daily clicks go up by some percent (about 20% I think, I need to recheck). eCPM is quite the same though...
