Link units under youtube videos

Has anybody else tried putting a horizontal link unit right under or on top of an embedded youtube video? Just wondering if anybody has had success with it. You can get a unit that is pretty much the same width as the video, so it goes together pretty well. Anyway, I'm trying it out myself, I'll let you know if it works.

Interesting... I thought a few months ago, Google had said in its Program Policies that site owners can't display AdSense ads on site pages that contain YouTube or other similar videos or photographs for which the site owner doesn't own the copyright. Today, however, after reading this thread I decided to re-check the policy and can't find it. Does anyone know if Google amended the policy vis-a-vis YouTube videos and photos?

I'm fairly sure you are allowed to display the videos so long as they don't breach copyright by being uploaded to youtube. If they are legitimate there (e.g. not from a movie or something else copyrighted) then you can embed them, because the owner of the video gives you permission by allowing the embed function.

Anyway, I've just finished the update, here is what it looks like: http://aussiearmy.org/videos/original/sectionattack2.htm

    I'll keep you posted.
