Link units too close?

I'm wondering if it's okay to have the link units this close the flash application shown in this image:

    Would that violate TOS?

I agree with sultanofseo. You don't want to take chances with Adsense. But I've seen some really popular blogs with close link units (one of Amit Patel's blogs)

it's fine to do that, but i think it might look better with a space between them.

zodiac, are you sure I can have them that close? What makes you so sure?

I made some space and it looks awful, but I figured having it like that and mail google about this — to be on the safe side — and if they say it's okay, I change back.

Hmmm...I think it's ok because it is not in any way misleading or suggesting the user to click the link. However, you would not want to take chances with Adsense, so best thing is to put a space or two to separate it.

From looking at it i would say its not misleading and should be ok, if in doubt you could email the google adsense team

link units don't follow the same guidelines as ad units.
you can have them close to a menu or flash object.it takes two steps to click on an ad,so if they click on it by mistake, they just hit the back button and it doesn't cost the advertisers any money.

I agree it is ok, but I see no advantage to placing it there nor does it look as good as it eould with a break.
