ok, i have placed a link unit 120x90 in my new site (still under construction) at http://make-money-online.007ihost.com/ its at the left column, at the top. it looks werid. the background is blue instead of white and its not 120x90. does anyone know the problem? i tried looking at the html, css, no luck. the preview in frontpage shows correctly, but when uploaded just looks way wrong. i generated the code like 10 times, still got this error. even changed the template, nothing works.
ok, i found that this problem does not exist in IE. so its a scripting issue, can anyone help me find the fault. been trying for some time now.
oh wait, the prob is fixed now. really strange. i switched back to firefox to fix a minor layout issue and found the link fixed. all i did was enclose the ads code with a span tag. it was there earlier with the problem, i removed it and it didn't help. now it helps. hmm. think it might be a cache issue in firefox, though i did clear them. probably forced FF to clear their cache again by switching to IE (i am using the IE tab add-on)
i advise you to use a diffrent format for your adlink. Your site menu looks exactly like the ad-link. Thats not really against the TOS but it makes your website look spammy..
I'm not sure it's a cache issue, though I did have a similar problem at some point when testing out formats. I got stuck with one, and no matter how many times I "fixed it" nothing changed. Now when I get "problems" like that I totally close down FF and reload it.
is that not labeling?...not sure, but the link unit looks fine...sometimes you just need to wait and keep refreshing and it will be ok...
really? oh well, i thought it is really good blending i seen a rather reputable SEO site that has even better blending than mine for the link unit. i copied their blending idea. thats the only site so far that i clicked its adsense ads on thinking its their own link. and yes, my site is working. its under free web hosting so i can't get a custom 404. thats how these free web host earn their bucks i guess. i haven't done up the pages, but its almost fix now. i haven't really completed the site actually. its like 1 week old
that was 2 months ago, can't really remember the site. i know i got it from google search. it had some seo tools that i tried but didn't really bother to use. can't find it in my bookmarks either, strange. i dun really visit SEO sites nowadays. been learning from this forum right now. those sites don't really update as much as forums and blogs do.
