Link Unit blended with horizontal text link nav bar - Compliant? (Screen Cap)

I know I should ask Google for a definitive answer, but I wanted your opinion.

See the attached thumbnail and picture.

That is my index page of my pictures site with the logo at the top, a sub title below the logo and then what you see in the attached picture.

I have a 4 link Adlink unit just below a Text Link navigation bar for my site that is blended to the same font size and color as the Adsense link unit?

Is the black "Main Menu" too much blending? Should I put a horizontal line in between the two sets of links (nav and adsense links)?

I anxiously await your responses. :)

Looks good to me. I don't see a problem with that at all.

i did that before... i even break my nav bar in to top and bottom and put link unit in middle
but it is going to look odd, and CTR is not too good
i took it off after a month

hehe, you optimize your menu like the link unit. I think that's fine

thanks for all the input everyone :)

I'm going to put my nav bar & link unit combo across all the pages on my site and see how it works. I've got custom channels on the pages and ad/link units so I'll report back when I have some findings.

It might be compliant, but do u really want to cheat your visitors? Those who realized what happened after clicking will probably get a bit pissed. Furthermore, Ad Links require two clicks, so you won't get any 2nd clicks from anyone who clicked there by mistake.

But if your site traffic is made of mostly one-off hits, then site loyalty doesnt matter too much I guess.

I don't know if it's compliant or not, but imo it is "over-blended" and kinda like cheating the users. You shouldn't really do that. I think it's better not to do it in the long run, but that's just my opinion. Plus, in the TOS it is mentioned that ads should not be placed too closed to other content/links. That's kinda being violated here imo.
