Link to nowhere ad with phone number on it?

    These inventive Israeli guys: http://petra-jordan.reservation.co.il/trip-to-Petra-Jordan-tour/index.htm - advertise a phone number in Israel for trips to Petra, Jordan, so no problem here, but when you click on the ad, the site is "dead", it leads to nowhere: SERVER NOT FOUND. Do you think this is a new way to get everyone to call you instead of making you pay for clicks? Or does the advertiser pay per click to Google Adwords even if they shut their destination website down?

    P.S. I found the "Petra" ad here:

    At the bottom of page. If you don't see it, scroll with Google ad arrow to the next ad on the banner.

    Their phone number that they advertise on the ad is: +972-86340558.

    you wont get an effective click tho, and you shouldn't be clicking your own ads anyway...
