Are you talking about directory submission service? I only heard directory submission and link exchange services, but never heard link submission service. For directory submission, you'd better submit your site manually.

i agree...do it manually...use informenter, an add-ons on mozilla as it'll help you do the work more fast rather than to copy/paste each information...you may want to start with http://www.directorycritic.com/free-directory-list.html...:)

Sure it's better to submit manually. There is site in Poland providing such a service. The efectivity if submitting is about 30%. Why? Because most of the links are removed due to submitting in wrong category.
Do it manually and you will be sure the links will stay there for longer

Tauren, many people getting their dir submissions done thru various freelancing sites. They r outsourcing it becos of paucity of time. . By the by manual submission is considered to be best method instead of using softwares. Ofcourse its bit tedious but the desired result will be very good.
