What is the best script to use for a Add Url / link submission form? Does anyone know if Arelis software also provides the form submission, as well as managing your links directory?
I do not use add url's initially. If you link from a page that is spidered frequently you will be indexed fairly quickly. Much more so than going through add URL to main search engines. Now DMOZ is another matter. I always add URL there as soon as site is ready for view by search engines and human editors. Shannon
No i meant for a Link Submission form that goes on your own site, for your own links page. I hear people say that Arelis is a good Links manager program, but just wondering if that also gives you the link submission form for people to submit their site to your links page, or whether there anyone has any recommendations for this form? Hope that clears it up.
Arelis is okay, it doesnt have that function built in though. Arelis will find some very weird link partners too. Still, the best link exchanges you will get are the ones you get yourself. Since arelis sometimes uses the whois function to find the contact email, your emails will be missed as spam. many sites use a form to submit a link or an uncoded email address to submit a link - and those are usually the best sites to get on.
I use a program called Reciprocal Manager and love it. It can be customized for SEO. You can see it on my site. It does everything including managing reciprocal links. I like it so much I promote it on my links pages.
