Right now all of my monetizeing pages are accessed from my navigational bar and articles are accessed from monetizeing pages. I do have a few moneytizeing pages accessed from the home page but am concerned that to do the linking structure according to the SBI way not having all of the monetizeing pages accessed from the home page is not as good as having them accessed from the navigational page. I would have all 10 of my monetizing pages accessed from the home page but I really do not have enough content to do it. I hate to ad content to the home page just to have all 10 monetizing pages on the home page so is it ok to have the 4 monetizing pages linked from the home page via text links and all 10 monetizing pages link to the home page via the navigational bar. Consider how SBI recommends and what is best for spiders to crawl my site and let me know.
SBI for Site Build It? Forgive me from saying this, it's my personal opinion. I think SBI "rules" for SEO is obsolete. I've seen websites with high rank and serp with 25 monetizing links on the home page. I've also seen websites with high rank and serp with 50 monetizing links on the navigational page. It's just doesn't matter. It all depends on your business model and monetizing way. Since you are using SBI, I'll assume you use AdSense. If you separate the ads and the articles, aren't you violating GOogle's TOS? Last time I checked (which is quite a long time ago though) you should have contents on the "ads page". Monetizing pages are for human visitors not SE robots. Will SE robots buy or click your ads? Of course not. So don't put SE robots into consideration. SEO is Search Engine Optimization. SE wants to have pages with great contents, which is your articles pages. It won't (and according theory will never) index your ads page high. Not as high as your article page. If you put your article pages at the last of the piramid, how can you monetize it? Links on navigational bar and the home page are all links according to SE robots. Except if you are using a special dynamic or Javascript based navigational structure, there is no diff according those robots. Maybe I'm missing something, however from your explanation above, you are wasting your time considering those SBI rules, which I think will have NO diff effect on CURRENT SE robots.
