Link relevancy

    Hey,

When I'm looking for one way links, should I be most concerned with the theme of the page that will be linking to me, or the site overall?

For example, my main site is on glyconutrient health supplements. If there is a website selling seo services that has a page on glyconutrients, would that be a quality link? Or, would I be better getting a link from a vitamin site?

What matters more: the theme of the entire site linking to me, or the subject of the page linking to me?

I realize that if I'm doing recip links, the issue of me linking to sites outside my subject area must be dealt with, but these are one-way links.

You would be much better off with a link from a vitamin site. A link to my vitamin site from an SEO site wouldn't interest me one bit.
