I was wondering if anyone knows how if the link "wights" the same if comes from a footer of the site, comments, forum subscribtion, or from the blog content posted as a source [xxx].

Which one of these is the best? Or are they worth he same...

there is alot of debate about this..
but my opinion is the in content (in the blog post sourounded by keywords) is the best.

but all links will help you, if the sites relevent to yours a blog roll link is just as good.

in my experance only, but other opinions might vary..

Best way is to get a mixture of all these type of links. It is generally agreed that best links are placed at the beginning of the content. :)

    Hi,

    I agree with that.
Before few months I work on a specific page of a website.
The owners of the site suggest me some keywords and told me I want to be on the first page of Google on most of the keywords which he gave me. So, I created a blog related to his services and posting some good posts in it and I succeeded to got the rank on the first page of Google.

    :)

linked from content i.e contextual links are strongest backlinks considered for good rankings as they fulfill both the purposes of keyword rich anchor text and relevant text around ancor text
