I recently came across http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/link-price/ on the SEO Chat site (where i oftern pop into the forum for SEO advice and information). Needless to say i found this tool which i hadnt used before - put my site URL in and was told that i should be charging $30 per link, per month. Has anyone else used this tool to calculate your monthly link price? Does this tool provide an accurate and ideal price for links? Or as with anything, is the amount purely down to the competition? Do you base your prices on this or another similar tool? Apparently the price per month for a link on these forums should be $1,074.
Yer - its rather hard to know how it comes to that amount. It gives general information above the tool, but thats just really rather vague saying its based on traffic, links etc.
Link price $12.. I sold my link half of that price.. I think that it is very difficult to sell links at their suggested price thou.. By the way, the following is another link price calculator: http://www.text-link-ads.com/link_calculator.php
That one suggests $26-$69 depending on the number of links. Ideally its about 8 so thats $31 - not really that much difference. I could potentially 'generate $248/monthin revenue for your website' according to that site... perhaps its something to consider for the new year once some of the sitewide links run out. I have people on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly sitewide link purchases. I think once the new update occurs and my PR hopefully changes it will be time to review the amount once each link comes up for update.
and here is another one : http://www.linkvendor.com/seo-tools/linkvalue.html Many good other tools also on this site. cheers
The question is using text-link-ads is it possible to achieve that income per month? does anyone here use text-link-ads? if so how successful have you found it?
That one reacons $34.31 - the prices to all seem to be about the same within a few dollars. I think at the end of the day though it comes down to many different factors - specifically are people prepared to pay that much? At the end of the day it really comes down to trial and error and finding the right balance and price.
I can't answer that because I only use their affiliate program and don't sell links on my site. But from what I've seen there are many people willing to pay that price.
