Link popularity question

    What could be the cause for my link popularity being unbalance like this :

    Google 50
    MSN 1,810
    Yahoo 1,285

    In a few weeks, Google havent displyed more then 50 backlinks, while MSN and Yahoo are growing with my SEO effort.

    Goooooogle historically has been extremely conservative at noting backlinks or at least revealing the ones of which they know. Yahoooo and MSN are much more generous and open.

    It's normal. Google only shows a sampling.

    And nobody so far knows how Google decides which ones to show...

    It's probably antiSEO.

    Don't worry, check your links at Yahoo or MSN (or both) but remember that Google isn't ignoring you...

    Google might not even have indexed the pages you received the links from that Yahoo and MSN list.

    Google knows everything and reveals very little - they've been there they just do not reveal all their backlinks for reasons only they know. :rolleyes:
