link popularity check,google links=0

    just did a link popularity check for one of my blogs,total links 386 over 135 link with yahoo,135 with alta vista,and the balance on all the web.
    but 0 links with google and msn.
    why is this?:confused:

    About google, It doesn't show all link anyway... And since you're still talking about hundreds (xxx) of links so i don't expect to see much from G.

    It takes time to update too.

    I agree with you that google doesn't show all backlinks of the site but you can check some backlinks of your site from Google's Webmaster Tools.

    I just read that Alta Vista search now is just a shell for Yahoo search so you'd expect the same results/backlinks

    You know I have well over 1500 backlinks and google shows 3.

    Google doesn't show all links, but its possible you aren't indexed in google. Submit your website to google or look into social bookmarking to get it indexed.

    Check your exact google backlinks from Google Webmasters Tool.
