Link on foreign pages

    Guys, what do you think. If I link to a spanish page from an english page, would Google know if the english page is related to my spanish page ?

    in my opinion, link is link . every link will help you to get better result but for your example , i believe G will give low importance to those links

    I am thinking that maybe Google know that "hombre y mujer" means "man and woman" and will count it as relevant.

    i'm confused too

    cos my english is poor, so i want to develope more links from my mother tongue sites, but i don't know weahter useful!

    I believe a link is a link, and value can not be penalize that much because it is in another language.

    This is an interesting topic. Does google know that the content is relevant? They seem to know everything else and they can somewhat translate pages. I'm personaly unsure???? I would guess no. Simply because G is a pain in the A**

    of course google will know the meaning of the pages .
